The mazu Cruising app for the iPad offers a robust platform for enhancing your maritime journeys. With its advanced weather capabilities, users can navigate to their destinations both efficiently and safely.

Through Wifi, Cellular, or Satellite connectivity, the app integrates seamlessly with the mazu mSeries device, enabling SMS communication (available with the mazuChat in-app purchase) and real-time weather updates from anywhere on the ocean via Iridium Satellites.

The app features a comprehensive 7-day Point Weather Forecast and NEXRAD Imagery, allowing users to assess ideal conditions for their trips. Route management is facilitated through customizable waypoints, enabling precise tracking of positions in relation to these points. The intuitive dashboard promotes continual weather updates and adaptability to changing ocean conditions while underway.

Incorporating NOAA and LINZ charts enhances navigational accuracy. Moreover, users can integrate their Navionics+ subscription within the mazu Cruising app to access detailed charts and overlay personalized weather data onto their Navionics maps.

The mazuChat in-app purchase further enriches the user experience by enabling group chats with friends and family. This feature allows for real-time messaging and vessel position tracking, enhancing connectivity among onboard companions. Importantly, users can utilize mazuChat with the mazu mSeries device to send messages to any SMS number while out at sea.
